The city boasts a true aptitude for theatre and dance and also has an ample cultural offer that includes the theatre of prose, modern dance, ballet, cabaret, performances in dialect and shows dedicated to children. The programme covers the most varied theatre and dance performances and invites an array of international artists. Milan has its very own “temples”, privileged places where the spectator is also the protagonist. La Scala, for more than two centuries, has seen the most illustrious names in music and dance take turns on its stage.
