The National Museum of Science and Technology and the IBM Italy Foundation - in collaboration with IBM Human Centric Solutions Europe - present LeonardoAround, a new app for iPhones and iPads in Italian and English to get to know all the Leonardo da Vinci’s locations in Milan.
Thanks to LeonardoAround citizens and tourists alike can explore the museums that exhibit Leonardo’s masterpieces or works by Leonardesque masters, discover places and works linked to the Sforza, or French, era and have maps, routes, in-depth info and videos always at hand. So Smartphones become an innovative guide through the art and the cultural heritage of Milan: museums, churches, public buildings, monuments and waterways - some well-known, others almost forgotten - are brought to life in a cultural network of design and tourist development. The app will be downloadable free from the App Store as of March 21st. Public Presentation of LeonardoAround Wednesday, March 21st, 2012 at 11.30 Sala Cenacolo Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia “Leonardo da Vinci” Via San Vittore 21, Milan Free entry until all seats are taken. |
