After thirty years Milan changes format. Three weeks of events will be held in September, even in the outskirts of the city, together with seven busy days of fashion shows. So it’s a return to the «long» version of Milano Moda Donna Spring/Summer 2011 which will be held from 22nd to 28th of September, after a previous reduction of the days to suit the diktats of the director of Vogue America, Anna Wintour.
It is the most awaited pret-a porter appointment in the world. The fair will be held in the fashion catwalk centre of Via Gattamelata in Milan, with its huge spaces, the characteristic central piazza where the public can follow the live shows on the videowall and the showrooms reserved for editors and sponsors. A myriad of collateral events running parallel to the Fashion Week will start on September 8th and carry through to the 30th.
