EXHIBITIONS IN MILAN 2018 AND PREVIEW OF 2019

From ancient to contemporary art, from the masters of Art to the story of History: for 2018 Milan presents a calendar of exhibitions and projects that seamlessly interlace different languages and offer innovative visions.

Albrecht Dürer at Palazzo Reale, Paul Klee at MUDEC, Giovanni Boldini at the Gallery of Modern Art and the return of Pablo Picasso to Palazzo Reale: these are the Grand Masters who will be the protagonists of the cultural season.

The Milano Città Mondo (Milan World City) is well represented by the retrospective dedicated to Frida Kahlo at MUDEC and the collective of Brazilian artists at PAC.

The collaboration with the major international museums also continues, such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art which brings the works of Renoir, Monet, Cézanne, Matisse and other modern and impressionist artists to Palazzo Reale.

The 150th anniversary of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the First World War, the Corrente cultural movement and the student protests of '68 are at the centre of exhibition projects that recount and consolidate the city’s historical memory.

Plus, the Italian Twentieth Century with its intellectuals and artists, the creative thinking of fashion, design and architecture, research and study projects dedicated to ancient sculpture or the Pietà Rondanini, up to the previews for 2019...
